Florida

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Florida. Our pictures will chronicle the journey for you. First we have Kyle all excited about his first flight. He even wore his plane bib for the trip. Little did we know that our excitement would be short lived as we pushed away from the gate and sat in the plane for 3 hours waiting to be de-iced. As the midwest weather would have it, we were in a freak April snow storm and the airport was not prepared. Once in the air the kids enjoyed a much needed and deserved nap.

We did many things while we were in Florida. We swam--which this picture shows Madeline enjoying very much and Kyle not so much.

Madeline rode the train--how many times was it, Grandpa?

And, of course, I loved visiting Winnie the Pooh! ;o) I took a picture at this spot with Madeline when she was a baby, so it was very fitting to get both my babies at the same place again.

But most of all, Madeline and Kyle had a blast with Grandma and Grandpa! It was very hard to come home. I guess that means we'll have to do it again next year!
