For those of you not in the Chicago area, I thought you'd like to see a picture of the lovely cicadas that have been in our area. They only come out every 17 years and, boy, are they an expereience! They are giant, flying gross bugs and thank goodness Wheaton didn't have them too bad. Glen Ellyn and some other suburbs had them horrible. Think piles of these things all in your bushes, around your trees, and in your yard! They make a lovely, defening lawn mower noise that's great as well. Thank goodness we won't be seeing them for another 17 years!!

Gross!
