This is how Kyle spent his birthday--receiving lots and lots of breathing treatments. He was still wheezing in the morning, so we had to go back to the pediatrician's office for extra treatments and new medicines. We came home hopeful, but he woke up from his afternoon nap wheezing again, so we had to go to the emergency room. We ended up spending the night in the hospital for observation and he seemed to turn the corner. He is home now with 5 breathing treatments per day--3 abuterol and 2 steroid treatments. We hope he'll impress the pediatrician tomorrow with nice, healthy lungs!
