-Madeline is LOVING Kindergarten! She is thriving in the full day environment and we are so thankful for a wonderful, caring teacher and class for her to interact with! Madeline had a vision for her birthday this past month where she wanted all of her gifts to be for the babies in the NICU at Central DuPage Hospital. She collected an astounding amount of things. She is patiently waiting for me to get better so we can deliver it to the babies.
-Kyle continues to bring smiles to our face. He was evaluated for Jefferson Preschool a few weeks ago and we find out on Thursday if he is accepted or not. He is an on-the-go boy with sports, Hotwheels, and/or food on his mind at all times.
-Greg continues to be busy at work. He recently attempted some plumbing repairs at home with mostly success. He burned his hand with soder and fingers on his other hand with the blow torch, but those were the only injuries. The inner workings of our house are becoming more and more mysterious though. Greg uncovered many problems while trying to fix a problem with our outside spicket. He was able to repair most everything he set out to--and a few more things that popped up along the way.
-Jami has been sick for the past month with some sort of mysterious sinus/throat thing. 2 rounds of steriods and 3 different types of antibiotics haven't been able to budge it. It makes mothering interesting with a low energy level and hoarse voice! She is continuing to enjoy teaching piano and is even looking for a few more students.
-Our house is undergoing a big facelift this week. Today new windows were installed and soon new siding and trim will be going up. I am looking forward to posting pictures of our spiffy new house!
