In efforts to brighten the kitchen and update the old cabinets, I took crazy pills and decided to paint the cabinets. With my wonderful mother-in-law at my side and many babysitters home with the kids, we tackled the project (including 18 cabinet doors and 8 drawers!) this past weekend and yesterday I put the last brushstroke on the cabinet doors. So here you can see a view of them before --

I'll have to get another picture up once the doors and hardware are on. This weekend we hope to paint the rest of the house and for Greg to make headway in the office/4th bedroom he's building in the basement. We're hoping to move in next Saturday. We're so excited to finally have a home of our own!
